Bio/Tour:
Tyler Creek Road is a Country Band that has emerged as an eclectic powerhouse of contemporary and traditional music. While retaining their country music roots, the band has incorporated their musical influences into their overall sound.
With a lineup of powerful vocals from Elliott Ambrose and the Smokin Hot, lead guitar playing of Mitch Chaddock, Tyler Creek Road is the premier live-performance band of the Southern United States. Behind it all, Herb Damron provides a relentless drive on the drums to hold it all down. Bert Hornschmeyer, on bass, keeps it moving to compliment the Tyler Creek Road sound.
At the heart of Tyler Creek Roads music is an abiding respect for traditional country music combined with an approving understanding of the modern country sound. While Tyler Creek Roads primary focus is on original material that reflects their solid country roots, they also pay homage to their southern heritage and the many other influences that have shaped their understanding of music. On any given night, the Tyler Creek Road fan will hear the definitive influences of bluegrass, traditional country, country rock and folk music.
OUR PHILOSOPHY: All music flows out of the same river and, ultimately, back again. It is the musician that takes it, shapes and forms it, and, if he is successful, finally reaches a moment, in the music, that is worthy of the listeners ear. The members of Tyler Creek Road commit themselves to the end.
