Lee Brice has released his latest single ‘Me And Whiskey,’ a new preview of his forthcoming album Sunriser (All Nighter), set for release on Oct. 2.
Co-written by Brice alongside Matt Alderman and Nate Kenyon, Me And Whiskey was co-produced by Brice, Cody LaBelle, and Jerrod Niemann. The single puts a somber turn on the classic childhood nursery rhyme “Sitting in a Tree”.Rather than reflecting on young love, the lyrics depict a man coping with the painful breakdown of a relationship while seeking solace at a tavern counter.
“Me And Whiskey” serves as a featured track on “Sunriser (All-Nighter),” with the 32-song collection acting as an expanded edition of his sixth studio album, “Sunriser.” It also features the recently-released singles: “What You Know About That,” “Cry,” “Country Nowadays,” “Truck Bed Mixtape,” and “Killed the Man.”
In support of the new music, Brice is continuing his 2026 tour schedule with concert dates across the United States throughout the year. Ticket info can be found HERE.

“Fifty,” the latest single from Maryland country singer-songwriter Mike Kuster, is a mid-tempo, radio-friendly country reflection on how differently we experience time as we get older. It starts with the childhood feeling that the clock could barely movewaiting for the weekend, waiting for the final school bell, waiting for Christmasand then turns the story around. Suddenly, the years are flying.
Marriage, kids, work, and the everyday rush of life seem to put the pedal to the floor. Then one day, the kids are grown, the house is quieter, and you find yourself wondering where all those years went.
The chorus delivers the song’s central hook:
“Wish it would slow down
So I can look around
I’m afraid
The next fifty
Won’t take
Twenty years.”
“Fifty” doesn’t dwell in sadness. The production and tempo keep the song moving while the lyric gives listeners something to think about. It’s nostalgic, honest, and ultimately about appreciating the time we have while we’re still moving through it.
Recorded and produced by Mike’s team in Nashville, it has a natural fit for country, Americana, roots, and independent country formats, especially stations and DJs looking for songs with a strong story and a lyric listeners can immediately connect with.
For anyone who has ever looked at their grown children and thought, “Where did the time go?”this song is for you.
