Single by Julez “Higher Than Love” – The Grand Prize Overall Winner Of The USA Songwriting Competition In 2024

The past five years have been filled with non-stop music making for the up-and-coming songwriter/producer and electronic artist Julian Gardner, known as Julez. After receiving an honourable mention in the USA Songwriting Competition with his single “Problem” in 2023, it has just been announced that his song “Higher Than Love” has not only won the Dance/Electronic category of the competition this year, but is also the grand prize overall Winner of the USA Songwriting Competition in 2024!

While his first album isn’t slated for release until 2025, Julez is offering up a taste of what’s to come with his single, “Higher Than Love.” featuring J.O.Y. Given that Julez is so much more than a musician, “Higher Than Love” shines as it highlights his cool songwriting and production abilities as well. While some artists stumble to find their footing right out of the gate, Julez is off to a head start with his single, which was co-produced by the talented Paddy Hunt. Once upon a time, Julez played in various bands as a drummer, but soon realised later in life his passion for playing the piano and writing his own songs. That soon blossomed into a successful musical journey as Winner of the USA Songwriting Competition 2024.
