Michael Corin is an American singer/songwriter originally hailing from Rockford, Illinois. He was raised on classic rock and believes that country music is a spiritual experience. My family used to live in Nashville years ago and that is when i fell in love with country music. stated Corin in a recent interview. His raw passion, soaring vocals and undeniable melodies have allowed him to entertain thousands across the country. He is an award winning artist and has earned an impressive 8 Rockford Area Music Awards including Best Songwriter, Best Album (New Voice) and Best Song (Youre Amazing). In 2018, he decided to relocate to Nashville, Tennessee from Borger, Texas. He is passionately pursuing his career in country music. He found success early on in Music City, quickly signing a record deal with 3.1 Productions (started by John Elefante, the lead singer of Kansas) Corin decided to transition from being signed with 3.1 Productions to being an independent artist and hasnt looked back since. He still maintains his independent status today as he prepares to release his latest single Little Bit Reckless sometime in early 2019. Early on in his stay in Nashville, he was able to connect and work with Kent Wells who famously produced a majority of Dolly Partons records. His talents and magnetic personality have also allowed Corin to take advantage of some other exciting opportunities, including the time he had the privilege of performing onstage to honor the legendary Dottie Rambo during her induction ceremony along with the great Hank Williams Jr. at the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. The audience that night was jam-packed with country superstars, including Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Gretchen Wilson, Jeffery Steele and Barbara Mandrell. These experiences have had a pivotal impact on Corins career, and hes more focused than ever as he prepares to release more music in the years to come. Songwriting is his passion, and he strives to capture the essence of a feeling and convey it through each and every one of his songs. Music is about creating moments for people to see themselves in.
