Josh Bricker grew up in Columbus, GA where he found his love for music and song writing. Growing up “I listened to all kinds of music from classic rock and country to funk and hip hop. That’s what was always playing in my house” he explained. He played baseball growing up and picked up his first guitar in high school. “I started playing drums and then I picked up the guitar and taught myself how to play. I’ve been hooked ever since” he states. He wrote his first song “Country Done Right” sitting in a dorm room at LaGrange College were he played baseball.
The singer/songwriter continued to hone his craft when he moved to Athens, GA to pursue a Master’s Degree and began to create a buzz around the area as a country music artist. “I started getting calls about my music and booking shows left and right. That’s when I knew I needed to go after my passion”.
The Athens, GA native performs with energy and confidence and loves every single one of his fans. He always makes sure to see anyone after the show who wants to talk or just get a picture.
The future is bright for this guy and he can’t wait to see what is in store.
