Things started early for Audre Belt. Phyllis Belt is Audre’s Grandmother and her band, the Country Kings, was a popular band out of Ellensburg, Wa. and Phyllis passed on her love for performing to Audre. From a very young age, Audre began singing and performing on stage, and by 16 she won at talent shows, at 20 she was opening concerts for stars like James Otto.
“Born in the small town of Ellensburg, Washington, Audre was raised there by her grandmother, Phyllis. Audre Belt is now leader of a band from Yakima Wa. Called American Honey.
“That’s what I’m made of” is Audre Belt’s first major release.
The song was written by Lajay Dailey with help from Chris Loid and Michael Peterson. Musicians and studio are in Eastern Washington.
