My love of music came aboiy out of the passing of my mother at the tender age of eleven years old. I became interested in play ing trumpet in the Band at Darnell Cookman Middle School and met my mentor, Mrs. Norman White who served as Band Director. A few years later I met Dr. Julian White. He served as Band Director at Raines High School.
