Bio/Tour:

MARSHAL GOLD is a high-energy, Country Rock duo rising like a Phoenix from the Arizona Desert. Yes, Southern Rock from the SouthWEST…the Wild West! And like the southwest their music is UNIQUE, BRASH and HOT as the Arizona sun. It will sting you like a scorpion, then warm your heart like a shot of tequila and you will soon be hooked!

And this isn’t the first town they have tamed. These guys have done this – they have grinded it out, toured the nation playing huge festivals with large crowds and rocked them all. They have had radio hits, done interviews and played every saloon and honky-tonk from sea to shining sea. Dues paid. Lessons learned. Fired-up with all the horsepower it’s going to take to settle the score!

Marshal Gold is Tim David Kelly and Brian Anderson. They started their first garage band together when they were in high school, and have been writing, recording and performing ever since. Tim David Kelly is an American musician, songwriter, record producer and composer. He is the singer, guitarist and songwriter for the rock band Kicking Harold whose still popular song Gasoline was featured as the main theme for five seasons on TLCs automobile make-over show, Overhaulin’. Kelly has written many songs for others, including co-writing Money For That for the band Shiny Toy Guns. He has produced several albums, including co-producing Lightning Strikes Again by Dokken. Kelly has composed main themes and music cues used in television and film including Gene Simmons Family Jewels (A&E) & Little Stevens Underground Garage (MTV).

Brian Anderson is an American bass player, songwriter, and lyricist. He started Kicking Harold with Tim in the 1990s. Their first album Ugly & Festering was picked up by MCA and they went on tour to support the album and performed with dozens of national signed acts. Afterwards Brian returned to his hometown of Tucson, Arizona and has formed two local bands – both becoming the most popular in town, performing on the main stage at the annual Club Crawl. Local Tucson radio station KFMA picked up a song from one of these bands demos and added it into regular rotation. Within a week major record labels were calling to find out just who this band was! Now they have saddled-up together again to record a new album – the result is Marshal Golds debut album Alchemy. A unique kind of Country peppered with all the influences of the rugged desert where they grew up.
