King in the Belly is an Aussie/Brazilian alternative rock band based in Brazil. The band consists of Ted Bertoloni (lead vocals, guitar), Vinicius Boareto (drums), Diogo Silverio (guitar) and Luke Kiernan (bass). Their first single Behind was releases in March 2017 along with a further 4 singles in 2017 and 2018. The band has also been touring regionally and in So Paulo. As well as playing a standout gig at Google Developers House, they curated and hosted the King in the Belly Backyard sessions during the prominent festival Hacktown. The band cites a wide range of musical influences ranging from Australian rock to Southern Blues. King in the Bellys debut album is set to be released in 2019.
