Keeana’s musical journey began in Eastern Europe, where she wrote her first English song at age 10. Influenced by iconic vocalists like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Beyonc, Aretha Franklin, and Ray Charlesand later Rihanna and Siashe developed a distinctive style that blends pop sensibilities with worldly influences.

After leaving university in London as a teenager to pursue modeling, Keeana lived in fashion capitals Milan and Paris before settling in New York in 2016. Her debut single, the tropical reggae-infused “Coconut Rum and Coke,” produced by Latin Multi-Grammy Award winner Maffio (known for work with Pitbull, J. Balvin, Farruko, and Nicky Jam), announced her arrival as a captivating new talent.

Keeana’s music videos boldly express her identity as a member of the LGBTQ community. The visual for “Coconut Rum and Coke,” which she describes as a “passionate lesbian love/lust story,” established her as an advocate for authenticity and self-expression.
