Bio/Tour:
Ashley Best is back at Country radio with a brand-new offering in “Nothing Ever Seems To Do. Its the follow-up to his debut hit single “Cowboy” that helped produce a #1 on the Country Top50 at National Radio Hits & Top10 status at New Music Weekly. Ashley fell in love with the “Bakersfield” sound when he was around ten years of age after hearing Dwight Yoakam & Buck Owens sing “Streets of Bakersfield” & hes been hooked in ever since. He grew up listening to his Grand Pap on an old reel-to-reel recorder. He played in a Country band but passed away when Ashley was only four. “I spent a lot of time growing up whistling a tune and rhyming words and always imagined myself standing on a stage, singing songs that I wrote”, adds Ashley. Tragedy would strike again in 2006 when his first wife passed away unexpectedly. “We had two daughters together, the oldest six & the youngest nine months old. Writing songs became his therapy. He performed his first Acoustic show in 2007 & a local County Fair, where he had the pleasure of meeting Jack Ingram. “I asked Jack what the key was to becoming “successful” in the music business, he said “Just keep on keeping on.” Ashley Best has been doing his music career the old-fashioned way, performing every chance in any bar that will let him in & as he points out, “I just keep on keeping on”. With the fact that his recent release of “Cowboy” was such a massive success, there are very high expectations that his new “Nothing Ever Seems To Do will end up becoming his very next #1 single at Country radio.
